Ithaca School District is seeking a full-time special education teacher for our Middle School for the start of the 2024-2025 school year.
The successful candidate will: Plan curriculum and prepares lessons and other instructional materials to meet individual need of students, considering state and school requirements, physical, emotional, and educational levels of development; Confer with parents, administrators, testing specialists, social worker, and others to develop individual educational program for student; Instruct students in all academic subjects; Create learning materials geared to each student's ability and interest; Instruct students using special educational strategies and techniques to improve sensory-motor and perceptual-motor development, perception, memory, language, cognition, and social and emotional development and more.

Ithaca would like to thank Officer Czys of the Richland County Sheriff's Department. Here are some GREAT pictures from the Ithaca' Counteract Presentation with Officer Czys and the Ithaca 5th grade class, from Tuesday March 12th. The picture of the four students shows the winners of the "best skit" representing a scenario where they demonstrated what they learned in the Counteract classes.
Officer Cyz gave a presentation for the parents concerning "COUNTERACT". Mike also put on a demonstration with his police dog, Rambo.

How was YOUR lunch today? At Ithaca, it was AWESOME! Students enjoyed a new menu item at lunch today - Bulldog Bowls which included Popcorn Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Corn and Shredded Cheese - They were quite the hit. One student gave them six thumbs up! Emelia even wore her Ithaca Bulldogs shirt today, so she matched with her lunch.

Last Friday, the Kindergarten students traveled to the Baraboo Children's Museum. While there, the students were able to put on their own circus and music concert, pretend play in the various exhibits, and create drawings of their favorite things they did at the museum. It was a great experience for our students, and we are grateful to Mrs. Schoen, and the staff at the Baraboo Children's Museum for making this trip possible.
Congratulations to the following boys basketball players who earned academic all state. These athletes are recognized for having a GPA of 3.5 or higher. We are very proud of how dedicated our student-athletes work on and off the court!

Congratulations to the musicians that performed at the District Solo and Ensemble Competition last weekend! All Ithaca performers scored a 2 rating or higher, and we had 24 Ithaca performers medal. A special congratulations to Alyssa Mueller, Trista Pluemer, Alex Prouty, Anthony Prouty, and August Ringelstetter for receiving a 1* rating, meaning they will be performing again in April at the State Solo and Ensemble Competition at UW-Platteville. Great work, everyone!
