The FFA sponsored fall blood drive is today Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 9 am to 2 pm. Please consider donating and helping to save a life. Donors must be 16 years or older and donors that are 16 must have a permission slip from their parents signed. These forms can be found outside Ms. Sprecher’s door. There are walk-ins available.

Come and join the Ithaca Art Club at Culvers tonight, November 8th from 4-8 for our share night. A percentage of the proceeds will go to the Ithaca Art Club so please come and dine with us!

All students and staff of the Ithaca District are invited to bring a free-will donation into the school office and sign a quilt that will be given to Ben Huebsch. The deadline to sign the quilt is this coming Thursday, November 9th.

HS Band students: The next Florida Trip payment of $400 is due on Thursday, November 9th.

There will be a youth basketball sign-up meeting Thursday, November 9th at 6 pm in the commons. This will be for 2nd-5th grade boys and girls. A parent/guardian must be there to fill out forms. There will be no Little Dribblers this year.
Middle School FFA will meet this Friday, November 10 during ATTACK in Ms. Sprecher’s room.

The Ithaca Lions are seeking student and adult help for the Nov 12 Pancake Breakfast that is a benefit for Summer Roh, Matt and Maddy Roh’s mom. If you have an hour or two between 7 and 2 that day, please see Ms Schoen to sign up.

Popcorn Friday will be this Friday, November 10. Elementary students, your classroom teacher will take your order and money. Middle School and High School students you will be able to purchase yours during breakfast, at the end of your hallways. Cost is $0.50 per bag, limit 2 bags per person. Help support the 4th grade class!

Football Calendar Raffle Winner for November 7th, Bill Kloehn - Congratulations!
Middle School scientists have been working hard this year! This past week, 6th and 7th graders finished out the quarter with some projects to show what they've learned. 6th grade made models and displays about the layers of Earth, and 7th graders showed off their knowledge about the differences between animal and plant cells. And be sure to keep your eyes peeled in the coming days for 8th grade's interactive hallway display!

The Ithaca School District will be honoring all veterans on Friday, November 10, beginning at 1:30 pm in the school gym. We invite all families to attend and to invite others to join you for this day of remembrance and gratitude.
High school students will share selected readings; middle and high school choirs and the high school band will perform. Elementary students will lead those in attendance in the Pledge of Allegiance and perform a short skit.
Please spread the word and we look forward to your attendance as we honor our Veterans.

On November 5, 2023, the Ithaca High School Chapter of the National Honor Society welcomed new members during its Induction Ceremony. Students submitted an application prior to selection to document their commitment to scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Judge Andrew Sharp was the guest speaker for the ceremony. The new inductees include Jadyn Boland, Hewsten Garcia-Boland, Keegan Jones, Kaylee Miller, Izabela Ortiz, Abby Plonka, Ally Plonka, and Bailey Wanless.
