Perks of small and caring communities abound! Ithaca Public Schools takes pride in working to provide as safe of an environment as possible. The Safety Committee meets each month planning for and improving safety in our school and community. As part of an initiative to have as many of our staff and community CPR certified, on Friday, Ithaca hosted CPR certification training for staff. A tremendous thank you to Jeffrey Even of Cazenovia Area Ambulance and Josh Kowalke of City of Reedsburg Ambulance for conducting the training. They provide countless hours of training to our community, and to them we are grateful!

Ithaca High School is proud of the accomplishments of our students. As we near graduation, we wish to celebrate the Ithaca High School Class of 2024. Congratulations to our graduates, their families, and all who helped them achieve this milestone! 🎓 🎉🎉🎓
Today we shine our spotlight on:

Clayton Lee, a sophomore on the Ithaca/Weston High School boys track team accomplished breaking a long-standing Ithaca High School record last night at the Gerard Brunner Invitational. Set in 1991 by Josh Clary of 10:37, the 3200m run record has been a goal of Clayton’s for some time. Last night, Clayton set the new record at 10:32.12. Congratulations to Clayton on this achievement! He is pictured with his grandpa Mike Lee, father Duane Lee, mother Krissy Garstka, and aunt Kristie Troxel.

We ask for help and our community NEVER disappoints! Our Bulldog Boutique relies SOLELY on the generosity of our families and the greater community. We have received SO many donations of clothing, we ask that no more clothing be donated during this school year as we have reached our limit -THANK YOU COMMUNITY, YOU ARE AWESOME!!! However, we STILL have some needed items, so if you would like to help and donate, here are some items we could really use: children's underwear, boys, girls, all sizes. Hangers, ChapSticks, hair ties, clothing racks to hang clothes on, or plastic drawer systems to store socks, underwear, and shorts. Again, we offer our most sincere THANKS to you for donating and for considering donating the still needed items. GREAT THINGS HAPPEN AT ITHACA - EVERY DAY!

There will be no classes at Ithaca today, Friday. No hay clases - hoy - viernes

Good luck to Ithaca's CDE teams competing at State FFA today!

What is Open Enrollment?
The inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend public school in a school district other than the one in which they reside.
Who can apply?
Any Wisconsin resident in 4K to grade 12 may apply to attend a nonresident school district under the open enrollment program. However, a child may transfer to a nonresident school district for early childhood education or 4K only if the child’s resident school district offers the same type of program and only if the child is eligible for that program in the resident school district.
When can parents apply?
The regular open enrollment application period for the 2024-25 school year is open NOW and ends at 4:00 pm on April 30, 2024.
How do we apply for open enrollment?

The Bulldog Boutique is running STRONG - thanks to our students, community, and staff. The Director, Tina Ramsden, would like to give special thanks to Ithaca Student Mason Bailey. Mason volunteers to help with the boutique and has helped with washing, drying and folding several large bags of donated clothing, cleaning up shoes that were donated, and organizing donations for the freshen up area - such as combs, brushes, lotions, and deodorants.
