The Ithaca School District would like to thank Mrs. Stafford, Mr. Wunnicke, and Mrs. Behrens for filling key teaching positions during our first semester. Without their dedication, Ithaca would NOT have been able to deliver the education experience our students and community have come to expect. THANK YOU from all of us at Ithaca!

What are your Sources of Strength? The Sources of Strength program teaches and promotes growing in resiliency and (8) protective factors, for when life gets hard. From the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, " Sources of Strength (SOS) is a supported strategy by the CDC’s (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) Comprehensive Suicide Prevention (CSP) program as it promotes connectedness and positive peer norms." Ithaca currently uses the Sources of Strength program at all levels (K-5 curriculum and Middle and High School peer-lead groups).

An Ithaca student was recently highlighted by CESA3, talking about the Youth Apprenticeship Program. Ithaca Senior Matt Kepler has appreciated his youth apprenticeship opportunity at @ROKAutomation in Richland Center and feels he has gained valuable experience that he didn't think was possible. Congratulations to Matt for choosing this pathway.
Through the Workforce Innovation Grant awarded to CESA 3, @southwesttech, and @UWPlatteville from the @WEDCcommunity, our goal is to increase the number of Youth Apprentices in the Manufacturing pathway. The new manufacturing industry alliance @swag.manufacturing is focused on creating partnerships with educators to create awareness for careers in manufacturing to grow their manufacturing workforce pipeline. The Ithaca Art Department has been chaired many years by the legendary Ms. Peg Durkin. Over the years, THOUSANDS of excellent art projects have exited the art room. Art can be subjective. Not all art pieces “reach” all people. Enter Ithaca student Jadyn Boland. Her rendition of District Administrator Greg Herbst is SO SPOT ON, the bust could probably give a district directive and we would follow it!
