Ithaca Middle School Volleyball will have a sign up/open gym on Tuesday (Aug 20) and Thursday Evening (Aug 22) from 5:30pm to 7:30pm in the Community Gym.
Practice will start on Monday, August 26 at 3:30pm until 5:30pm.

There is still plenty of summer to enjoy, but mark your calendar! Students and families are welcome to attend Open House Night on Wednesday, August 28th from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Ithaca Public Schools. Families will have the opportunity to meet staff, drop off supplies, and complete or pick up paperwork.

Ithaca Public Schools Safety Committee continuously strives to improve the safety of our school for our students, staff, and community. Some of our initiatives are arranging CPR certification classes for staff, evaluating and improving emergency drills and exercises, and collaborating with area emergency management organizations. The group meets once a month, typically the third Tuesday each month, after school. The School District of Ithaca is seeking a full-time Spanish Teacher for Middle School/High School for the 2024-25 school year.
Candidates should possess a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Certification (#1365) or equivalent certification that allows them to teach Spanish. The successful candidate will develop and implement a variety of interesting and motivational activities, display strong leadership skills, utilize exemplary classroom management skills, demonstrate excellent oral and written communication abilities, have experience and knowledge of best practices and strong interpersonal skills.
Additionally, this person must be able to maintain a safe, respectful classroom and school environment and make a positive and substantial contribution to the school and district.

Today's multiple posts will look back at their experiences visiting The Declaration of Independence, Capitol Hill, Supreme Court, and Mount Vernon. A few of the pictures in Mount Vernon include: the bed George Washington passed away in and his dining room along with the desk that he had built and corresponded with everyone in our young nation and abroad.

Congratulations to Ithaca's graduated senior Josie Laue and Richland Center's incoming senior Keegan Cooley as both will be competing this week in the 2024 National High School Rodeo Finals in Wyoming. It will be a busy week for Josie, as she will be competing in the following events:
Barrel Racing: Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon
Girls Cutting: Monday afternoon and Friday morning
Breakaway Roping : Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon
Goat Tying: Wednesday morning and afternoon
Keegan will be competing in the following events:
Boys Cutting: Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon
Tie-down Roping: Monday morning and Friday afternoon
Steer Wrestling: Wednesday morning and afternoon
Congratulations to both Josie and Keegan, as they represent Southwest Wisconsin in Wyoming! The 2024 National High School Finals Rodeo (NHSFR) will take place from July 14th to July 20th at the Sweetwater Events Complex in Rock Springs, Wyoming. The event will feature over 1,700 competitors from various countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Mexico (NHSRA) (Sweetwater Events Complex).
Key events include 13 rodeo performances, four competition arenas, a large vendor trade show, the Queen Contest, and shooting competitions. Additionally, there will be various family-friendly activities and opportunities for community involvement.







Congratulations to the Weston Trap Team. The Weston Trap Team has 8 kids that will be competing in the national tournament. Coming off a 4th place finish at the state tournament and winning the spring conference. The team had just an outstanding season and they plan to keeping it going. 2 members of the team are /were Ithaca students. Danny Feryance is a graduated senior and making his 4th trip to nationals carrying a 23.8 season avg. He will be in the team and individual events. Owen Feryance is an incoming junior and will be making his 2nd trip to nationals. He has a season average of 23.1 and will be competing in the individual event. Weston team members include: Brianna Clark, Lilyanna Kast, Gavin Kast, Mason King, and Hayden Verthein.
