Summer School Friday - Our final day of Pioneers was a lot of fun! Mrs. Zorea played her fiddle; we learned how to square dance; we played marbles!

Friday summer school students completed their time travel while exploring the 70s, 80s and 90s. Pet rocks, Orange Julius, Bagel Bites pizza, playing Simon, and so much more. What a fun 2 weeks we have had.

More Summer School fun!

Ms Pope and her crew in Costa Rica. Riding a “lancha” in the rainforest. Where they saw sloths, crocodiles, toucans, monkeys, and several types of birds.

Summer School ROCKED at Ithaca!! We learned so much from working through the activities in the Junior Ranger booklets, including the process for how wood petrified at the National Park!

Summer School ROCKED at Ithaca!! Our Pioneers learned that kids in the 1800s made toys with any materials they had. They also learned that pioneer kids played for hours with no screentime! Our students tried their hands at solving tangram puzzles, and then made their own puzzle pieces to take home so they could continue to play!

Summer School ROCKED at Ithaca!! When learning about the polar habitat, students learned about penguins.

Summer School ROCKED at Ithaca!! Learning about the 1920s and 1930s. Fun food that was invented, making grape jelly, mock apple pie, learning new games and old. Kick the can and cup phones were a big hit. We even learned how to do the Charleston dance. Thanks to Mrs. Tina Ramsden.

Don't miss this awesome event Saturday at the Brewer Public Library.

Ithaca's woodworking class built part shelves for Simpson's Tractor. The students have worked hard, and were excited to take on this task. After completion, the Simpson family worked with NAPA Auto Parts to generously donate hand tools. The Technical Education program is extremely grateful for their support. Thank you Simpson's Tractor!

Summer School ROCKED at Ithaca!! Students learned about jellyfish when studying the rainforest habitat with Mrs. Steinmetz.
