A message from the group, "Ithaca – Under the Lights" Did you know that the softball field at Ithaca Schools does not have lights? Not only is this field home to the Lady Bulldog high school softball teams, it is used by the Ithaca Youth Baseball & Softball programs. Together, these programs serve approximately 135 children ages 4-18 years old. As you can imagine, scheduling practices and games for these teams is a challenge due to the limited number of local fields and daylight restrictions. In response, we are launching a campaign to raise $20,000 to install lights on the softball field. The installation of lights will help provide additional game and practice times needed to support our growing leagues. The group, "Ithaca – Under the Lights" is respectfully seeking monetary donations to help them reach the goal. Please consider investing in the future of Ithaca programs. High school wrestlers: poster pictures and individual pictures will be taken this Thursday at 6:00.
