Dear Parents/Guardians of Ithaca School District 6th to 12th grade students--we want to hear from you! This same survey was shared in 2021 and again now to measure changes in the community. Please share your thoughts with us! https://bit.ly/3TSQpvF

Ithaca lost a wonderful member of the community on Sunday, with the passing of Verla Pauls. After raising her own family, Verla went back to work and became part of "The Ithaca Family", working in the district for 43 years. The district would like to pass along our deepest condolences to Verla's family at this time of loss. https://www.prattfuneralservice.com/obituaries/obituary-listings?obId=27581614&source=fb1&fbclid=IwAR1kvJbiXt45YTjIXqDgKqSRf29PcwxD7kwVzBS-lDax3lod_SaCM7m5HxY

Free books!
Mrs Newkirk invited students to browse through a selection of free books during her annual give-away. With the unwavering support of the Ithaca Administration who passionately promote reading, as part of the Title 1 program Mrs Newkirk has been able to provide free books for our young Bulldogs to keep as their own.
Did you know that Title 1 services are supplemented by state funding when families complete free/reduced lunch applications and show financial need? Your efforts to complete such forms help Ithaca provide more opportunities and resources like these.

Today the 8th grade did a lesson on pickles. They had to observe and describe different types of pickles and then taste each kind. After they guessed which variety of pickle they tasted, they looked up recipes to see what the secret ingredient was to make each pickle variety taste the way it did. Finally, they devised a new pickle recipe for a pickle they like.
