Middle School 6th - 8th-grade girls interested in joining Volleyball this year practice will start
Monday, August 28, 2023, 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. There will be a brief parent/player meeting held at
the end of practice. Practices will be held in the community (old) gym. Forms need to be turned
in before the first practice. If you missed the co-curricular meeting held on July 31, 2023, forms

Join the Richland Chorus for their second annual summer concert on Saturday, August 19th at 4pm on the Coppertop Theater! Conducted by Ms. Pam Kintz and Mrs. Liz Niemeyer, there will be a wide array of music for all tastes - from contemporary to gospel to musical theatre! You'll enjoy the talents of some of our very own Ithaca staff and community members! Light refreshments will be served after the concert in the Wallace Student Center. Then, on Sunday, August 20th at 2:30pm at Seventh Day Adventist Church, Mezzo-soprano Elisabeth Niemeyer and soprano Chay Austyn Schmitt will be performing a vocal recital of selected works, accompanied by Dr. Dale Sinnett and Logan T. Willis. Selections will include opera, art song, and musical theatre; with a few special duets. Why perform a recital this summer? Just BECAUSE! :)

Ithaca Students and Families are invited to attend our Open House kicking off the 2023-24 school year on Wednesday, August 30, from 4-6 PM! Registration Materials can be picked up prior to the open house at the School Office from 8am-3pm week days August 16-30. Updated packets can be mailed or dropped off at school now through August 30 at Open House. Families can also deposit money into your children's meal account. *School pictures will be taken during the day on Sept 21.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a retelling of the Old Testament story of Joseph and his coat of many colors, as he is sold into slavery, and ends up becoming one of the most powerful men in the world. Told entirely through song, the show features every musical style under the sun from country to calypso! The show is rated PG, and is suitable for children. Monday, July 31 will be the co-curricular code meeting. It will start at 6pm. All middle school or high school students planning on going out for any extracurricular activity during the 2023-24 school year should attend with a parent or guardian. There will be copies of the required paperwork to participate in a sport at the meeting. You can also find them on the school website. Ithaca Schools would like to congratulate Ithaca Student Josie Laue, who competed in the National High School Finals Rodeo in Gillette, Wyoming recently. Josie was able to spend time with family and friends and had 2 nice barrel runs, one of her best goat runs, and continued to gain valuable experience in the cutting pen. This will bring to an end Josie's Junior year.
Congratulations to each contestant on team Wisconsin. Josie and her team would like to thank all the WI High School sponsors and supporters, especially Mike McCormick and Wyoming Saddle Company for the incredible cutting saddle, to Clay Dean for helping keep the horses healthy and performing, to DAC and Tammy Harms-Myers, and to Equine Therapy by Mike Rud.
The 2022-2023 Ithaca High School Yearbooks will be available to pick up before the Co-Curricular Meeting on Monday, July 31. Students or their parents will be able to get the yearbooks starting at 5 pm in the Ithaca Commons and will need to sign a form stating that they have received the book. A few extra yearbooks have been ordered and will be available to purchase for $55 each by cash or check (payable to Ithaca High School with 2023 High School Yearbook on the memo line). There will be an optional coaches practice tonight, July 25th at 7:15pm. I want to have it late enough to try to avoid the bad heat we are going to have this week. We should be wrapped up 8:30pm. We will plan to meet in front of the RCHS. There will be another coaches practice on Thursday, depending on weather and athlete interest. These are great opportunities to bring a friend who might be interested in running and wants to give it a shot.
