Hello, I have confirmed through testing this morning that our phone line issue still has not been resolved. According to Frontier, it's being worked on currently. I have confirmed many other businesses in the Richland Center area are having the same issue. I will continue to send out community updates as they become available. Mascot Races will be back at the 101st Ithaca School Fair! Does your school, team, or business have a mascot costume and a fast runner to wear it? Come out Thursday night and support your class during the 2023 Ithaca Homecoming Class Games. The games start at 5 pm with the boys playing volleyball in the new gym. At 6 the girls will play flag football on the field and class competitions will follow. Games are for any freshmen through seniors to compete in and the homecoming king and queen will be announced before the tug of war.

ATTACK Release Privileges will begin Tue, Oct 10 for high school students who satisfy the conditions below as of grade check no. 1 (which ended on Fri, Sep 29). The following conditions apply: The student must have an executed PARENT/GUARDIAN PERMISSION FORM on file in the School Office. [Forms are available in the School Office.] The student must not have any grade lower than a C-, as verified by a Skyward grade report. The student cannot have any missing assignments, as verified by teachers. A student taking courses through Acellus, an accredited online school used for credit recovery, must be at or beyond their lesson benchmarks, as verified by the school counselor.

The Ithaca Fair Parade will be held on Sat, Oct 7 starting at 10:30 with line up at 10:00. To enter in the parade, please fill out the Parade Registration form.

Today is the first night of youth football for 3rd-5th graders! Meet at the football field for practice from 6pm-7pm. A generous football fan will throw a pizza party for the players in the grade that has the highest percentage of participation for all 6 practices. These practices are meant to be a fun way to explore and grow in football. Bring a friend! Practices are 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/19, 10/23, and 10/26 from 6pm until 7pm on the HS football field. Check out the Scholastic Book Fair during the Ithaca Fair! Our Scholastic book fair has a new schedule this year The book fair will be open for shopping in the library during the Ithaca School Fair on Saturday, October 7th from 8:00am-10:00am, and again after the parade from 11:30am-1:30pm. Additionally, the book fair will be open for student shoppers during the school day from October 9-13 from 7:30am-3:30pm. Starting today, Oct 2, 2023, Squirrel (Mike) and Frog (Bill) bus routes will be picking up approximately 10 minutes early. This will be the new pickup time. The deadline has passed to guarantee a shirt for the Ithaca Foundation's Bulldog Block Challenge but you can still sign up for the race and get a cool swag bag of goodies and be entered for raffle prizes. Next week is Homecoming and Family Career, and Community Leaders of America, are selling caramel apples. The cost of the apples is $5, and they will be delivered to the elementary classrooms Thursday, October 5th. Congratulations to the Richland Center/Ithaca Cross Country teams! Last night, they competed at the Kickapoo/LaFarge Invitational. The boys team finished 1st, and the girls team finished 6th. Ithaca senior, Kaylee Peterson, finished 2nd in the girl's race. Sophomore, Clayton Lee, finished 3rd. Well done, runners!
