Coming November 7th, Ithaca Public Schools will host the Magic of Isaiah for the Ithaca Family Reading Night celebration. He will perform a magic show using the powerful magic of reading. Please join us for dinner provided by the PTSO at 5:30 and the magic show to follow. Your students have brought home a flyer with an RSVP to be returned to the classroom teacher.

Go, Coach Brenda! Ithaca/Weston High School track and Richland Center/Ithaca High School Cross Country coach, Brenda Walton is in France preparing to compete in the World Ironman race. If you'd like to follow along with her progress, download the IRONMAN Athlete Tracker app or keep up on the Ithaca/Weston Track and Field FB page as we try to post updates. If you remember, Brenda survived a cardiac event while she was competing in Utah at the 2022 World Ironman competition. She rehabbed and trained to qualify for this competition, and we are so grateful to see her reach this achievement. Just getting there is quite the blessing! Ithaca students and staff benefit greatly from the kindness of community donations for school supplies each year. Steve and Deb Dickey have continued the several year tradition, providing our students with an abundance of school supplies started by Evelyn Kolman, a 1942 graduate of Ithaca. The first meeting will begin at 3:30pm on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. From 3:30 (children picked up by Mrs. Jill Plonka at 3:15pm) until 5:00 pm. Are you exploring options for your soon-to-be driver? A new program called Driver Education Grant Program through the State of Wisconsin could have an opportunity for your family! Students who qualify for free/reduced lunch may apply below to have their classroom and behind-the-wheel driver training for a Class D (Regular) driver license paid for through the Driver Education Grant Program. Students with grants can enroll in any driver education program offered by an authorized driver education provider. This is a reminder from the Ithaca School district. Wednesday, September 18th will be an early release, with elementary being released at 1:45 PM and the middle and high school at 2 PM. Please be advised, with the continued shortage of bus drivers, the delivery time of your student WILL be later than normal tomorrow. As always, if you intend to deviate from your student’s current transportation plan, please call the office at 608-585-2311. Remember, all changes to transportation needs must be called into the Ithaca office no later than 11 AM on the day of the change. Thank you
