Along with Senora Pope, the following students will be traveling to Costa Rica from June 19th- June 27th; Miranda Franzen, Maggie Gshwind, Izzie Ortiz, Kaylee Peterson, Alivya Young and Holly King.
Along with ziplining and touring a pineapple plantation, the students
will be staying with Costa Rican families, swimming in Volcano heated hot springs pools and visiting the Pacific Ocean. Please wish us "Safe Travels" or Buenas Aventuras" on June 19th. Pura Vida!

Ithaca's National Park Junior Rangers earned their badge from Theodore Roosevelt National Park on Thursday, June 13th by learning about the park and completing all the activities in the Junior Ranger books!
It's almost time to get your rodeo on! The 65th Wisconsin High School Rodeo Finals, presented by CINCH, will be held in Richland Center at the Fairgrounds 23630 Co HWY "AA" June 14th, 15th, and 16th. The June Dairy Days parade will be held on Saturday June 15th starting at 10:30 AM. Ithaca 2024 graduate Josie Laue was named "ALL AROUND COWGIRL 2023" during last year's finals. Be sure to attend and cheer on Josie as she defends her title!

Ithaca students have become National Park Junior Rangers! They completed all activities in their nature journals and have earned their junior ranger badges for Isle Royale National Park and Theodore Roosevelt National Park! They have learned about the history, wildlife, and unique features of each park while completing their journals!
Pioneers at summer school learn about the 1800s by reading stories by Laura Ingalls Wilder and learning authentic skills that pioneer children would also learn! Our pioneers learned to see on buttons and then how to sew a running stitch to see two pieces of fabric together to make a small pillow.

Day 2 for State Convention for Ithaca FFA ! Three of our graduating seniors received their State Degree today. Congratulations to Josie Laue, Violet Dilley and Logan Anderson. Ethan and Annabeth represented us as delegates. Members also received their award for being Sectional Proficiency winner. Congratulations Josie for Equine Placement, Annabeth for Swine Placement and missing from the picture, Talena Sprecher for Swine Entrepreneurship.

Ithaca has a State Wiinner!!! Talena Sprecher was named 1st Place in Swine Production Entrepreneurship at last night's WI State FFA convention! She will now advance to Nationals in October.
Annabeth Sprecher placed 3rd in Swine Production Placement !

Tuesday, Ithaca Summer School Students studied Native Americans. They enjoyed making popcorn with 6 choices of flavorings, Succotash, walking sticks, rain sticks, basket weaving, and we even learned a Native American tribal rain dance. What a great day!
Summer school is rolling along at Ithaca! Miss Julie's 3-5 Pollinator Class planted a pollinator garden at Ithaca today! Located at the amphitheater, the garden consists of plants native to Wisconsin. Butterflies came to visit before we were done planting.

The 43rd Annual Richland County Dairy Breakfast, organized by the Richland County Farm Women, will be hold this TODAY at the Huff-Nel-Sons Farms at 25876 Huffman Lane.
