Students from several area high schools recently were announced as the Black Hawk Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizens for 2019. Among the winners was our own Diego Ortiz, son of Kris Fry. Diego was one of nine winners. State Regent, Judy Mason, stated that receiving the Good Citizen Award is like getting a gold star.
