The middle school girls basketball season will begin next week! Any interested girls in 7th and 8th grade, are asked to please sign up! There is a sign up sheet in the commons. We will begin practice on Monday December 16 (3:45-5:30) Following practice we will have a brief student athlete/parent meeting (held in the old gym).
Little Dribblers basketball practice, grades K thru 2nd, will be in the multipurpose room this Saturday from 10:15-11:00am.

Choir Students who sold fruit: Remember to pick up your fruit the Saturday from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. at Oakwood Fruit Farm. If you cannot be there, make arrangements for someone else to pick it up for you. Oakwood is closed for the season so this will be the only time you will be able to get your fruit.

Check out this event! After School Robotics sessions are being hosted by UW-Platteville Richland Continuing Education Institute. Session A: Wednesdays, Feb 5–March 4 6–7:30pm; Session B: Wednesdays, March 25–April 22 6–7:30pm. Build your LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robot. Robots will be built with interchangeable parts and are fully programmable to kick a ball, move in a circle, and listen to your commands. Innovation and creativity are required. You will work individually and in teams to build robots of your own design. Best for students entering grades 2–6. St Mary's-Keyesville and St. Kilian's-Bear Valley are going to both be participating in Wreaths Across America this coming Saturday, December 14th at 11:00 AM. Wreaths Across America is a program where veterans, deceased and living, are remembered and honored for their service. It is also an opportunity to teach youth to value freedom. VFW Post 2267 of Richland Center will be assisting at St. Mary's-Keyesville. The Lone Rock American Legion will be assisting at St. Kilian's-Bear Valley. All are welcome to attend. These are the only two cemeteries in Richland County which are having Wreaths Across America ceremonies this Saturday. These cemeteries will be joining over 1600 other cemeteries to honor our veterans. All programs in the United States start precisely at 11am (12 Noon Eastern Standard Time). Food and fellowship to follow in St. Mary's parish hall and St. Kilian's basement.

Members of the High School Band will be Christmas Caroling on December 15, 5:00 - 7:30 pm, in the Ithaca, Keyesville, and Sextonville areas. If you know of any community member who would enjoy us stopping to play for them, please let Mrs. Behrens know.

The annual food drive put on by Student Council and the NHS starts December 9 and goes through December 20. Have your children bring their donations to their classroom and student council members will collect items during the week. The coordinator from Passages stated that our donations help them out for almost a year!
This year we are making the food drive competition a school wide event. The top three classes throughout the elementary, middle, and high school who collect the most pounds of food will get a pizza party during lunch. Along with these changes, water will not be accepted as a donation. Thank you for your support and donations to the less fortunate people in our community!
