From Mrs. Zorea: 5th grade students in Library class learn research skills through citizenship activities. In October, students learned about the three branches of government and took virtual field trips to the White House, United States Capital, and Supreme Court building. In November, students researched who their United States senators are. Then, each student wrote a letter to one of their United States senators about an issue or concern they have. In this photo, students practiced addressing the envelope for their letters.
