A message from Shelly Pluemer, Ithaca School Social Worker Our mental health is just as important as our physical health. Take care of the whole person! Recognize signs of wellness as well as signs of unwellness, in yourself and those around you. "Research has shown that teaching the skills of kindness to students and adults, while creating a community that provides a sense of belonging, can significantly reduce the number of kids struggling with mental health."
