Recently, Senator Howard Marklein and Representative Todd Novak welcomed students from Ithaca Elementary School to the Capitol. Congratulations Regional Champions, Ithaca Softball! Last night, the Ithaca High School Softball team captured the Regional Championship by overtaking Seneca 4-1. Way to go, Lady Bulldogs and coaches.
State Bound!!!! Ithaca/Weston Track and Field athletes showed their stuff last night at the Bangor Sectional Meet. There were some stellar performances across all schools, athletes, and events. A special congratulations to our very own:

As a team, the girls tied for 9th with Cochrane/Fountain City wirh 29 points, just one point over Kickapoo/LaFarge.
The dugout may be empty now, but it won't be for long. The Ithaca softball team hosts Seneca TODAY at 5 PM in playoff action. The field is ready, and so are the girls! We will see you at the diamond today at 5.
The multi-purpose room is ready! 4K graduation is being held at 2 PM today.

Life is precious! Ithaca/Weston Track and Richland Center/Ithaca Cross Country coach, Brenda Walton was a bit late arriving at the regional track meet Monday night because she had just competed in a half-Ironman Triathlon in Chattanooga, TN. By finishing with a qualifying time, Brenda has reached her goal of returning to the World Ironman Triathlon in Nice, France. Brenda returned to the Ironman circuit after training intensively following a heart attack in the fall of 2022 during the run portion of the World Ironman Triathlon in Utah. She was able to get the rapid response she needed to get back at running, biking, and swimming at the level that brings her joy. Brenda has coached generations of athletes, and she has shared her triathlon journey as an inspiration to many. Keep at it, Brenda!
