March of Dimes “Dimes For Babies” Fundraiser
Ithaca High Schools FBLA Chapter wants to sincerely thank the teachers and students for your great participation in our annual March of Dimes collection “Dimes for Babies”. Your generous contributions will help prevent premature babies, and take care of those babies that are born premature and their mothers.
We had a very close race in the elementary this year but Mrs. Huffars 4th class came out on top with raising over $245! A pizza party will be given to this class. Thank you!
In second place we are going to call it a tie because they were 12 cents apart. The Dilly Bars will go to Mr. Urbans class raised $200.84 and Mrs. Kitsembels class raised $200.96. Congratulations!
Mr. Hess is the winner of the Pie in the Face contest. We will be giving him his reward at lunch on Monday! Thank you to all the teachers that donated their face for this competition.
Thank you all very much for participating!!!! You did a great job!! As a school we raised $1,097.39
Do you suspect your child left his mud boots or sweatshirt at school? We've accumulated quite a collection since we last cleaned up. While you're enjoying a concert or awards program in the next couple of weeks, drop by the lost and found in the Commons or back hallway. You just might see that left shoe that was misplaced.
Congratulations to the band and choir students on their performances at Large group Contest held at Boscobel High School. The Middle School Band and High School Band both received 1sts. The Middle School Choir received a 1st and the High School Choir received a 2nd.
Today is the last day to "donate" to the March of Dimes jars in the office. Mr. Hess is leading with $37. Mr Lechnir is in second with $10. Let’s make this a competition. Who would you rather see with that pie in their face? Donate today!!!
There will be a popcorn sale this Friday, May 10. Cost is 50 cents per bag, limit 2 bags per student please. Proceeds this week go to the Kindergarten class. We will come around at Attack time to sell to MS and HS students with teacher permission. Thank you!

Personalized bricks from That’s My Brick are once again being sold to help fund the student patio and beautify the school grounds.
Anyone can purchase a brick, for just about any reason:
Class spirit, as a memorial, groups, clubs, advertisement, family pride/heritage, etc.
Patio construction will begin this summer. It will replace the original 4K playground.
Orders can be placed at https://www.thatsmybrick.com/ithacawi.
Order deadline date is May 31, 2019.
