Red Ribbon Week is observed from October 23rd-October 31st. It is a celebration of healthy, drug-free choices and lifestyles. According to the 2018-2019 Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS), 50% of Ithaca High School students reported they “ever had an alcoholic beverage”; and of these 50%, 46% reported to have had their first alcoholic beverage before the age of 13.

We would like to send out a big thank you to Annette Louis for making the spaghetti supper for the evening and Mrs. Plonka and the PTSO for donating their time and food for the event. Richland County nurses will be here on Nov. 7th from 9:00-12:00 in the multi-purpose room to give flu vaccines to students that returned permission slips. The permission slips will be sent home soon. If you want your child to be vaccinated, please fill out the permission slip and return to the school. High School students should stop in the office for permission slips.
