Congratulations to the FCCLA members who competed at regionals on Friday. Receiving Silvers were Paige Nowicki, Adrianna Longo, Nate Drone, and Jaci Rosenow. Advancing to state competition in April are Talena Sprecher, Briella Hollands, Kaleb Underwood, Brandon Debukler, Dani Hatfield, Katarina Weitzel, McKenzie Weeden, Kyannah Koch, Kyla Pluemer and Hayley Boone. Great job everyone!
The Scholastic Book Fair is here! Visit the book fair in the LMC from February 11 through February 20th. The book fair will also be open for Parent-Teacher Conferences on February 18th and 20th. Books will be available for elementary, middle and high school students, with some titles selling for as little as $1. Come check out the Book Fair in the LMC.
The Florida meeting has been canceled and will be rescheduled for next Sunday, February 16th, at 2:00 pm. See you then!
The Ithaca 6th through 12 grade choir students are selling delicious Butter Braids. See a choir student to check out flavors available and place your order. Sales will end on February 18th.
HS Band Students and Parents: A reminder that you have a mandatory informational meeting on Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Commons. This meeting will cover all rules and expectations about the Band Trip to Florida. If we receive the snow that is predicted for Sunday, a decision will be made at 11:00 am if the Florida trip meeting needs to be canceled and rescheduled. Please check the Ithaca High School Band Facebook Page or listen to WRCO to see if it is still scheduled at 2:00 pm.
This week is National School Counseling Week! We thank Ms. Bevan and Mrs. Pluemer for all they do to assist our students in so many ways. School counselors are actively engaged in helping students examine their abilities, strengths, interests and talents; for working in a partnership with parents as they encounter the challenges of raising children in today’s world; for focusing on positive ways to enhance students’ academic, postsecondary and social/emotional development; and working with teachers and other educators to provide an educational system where students can realize their potential and set healthy, realistic and optimistic aspirations for themselves. We cannot thank Ms. Bevan and Mrs. Pluemer enough for all they do every day!

On Friday, January 31, five 6th graders attended the CESA 3 Improv workshop with Ann Dolan at Lancaster. They learned how to work together, establish the scene, and perform a story with a beginning, middle, and end. These students are also competing in the regional Destination Imagination contest on Feb. 29 in the Improv challenge category.

The PTSO, in conjunction with the Middle School Student Council, is offering free-will offering babysitting for Valentine's Day - Friday, Feb. 14, from 5:30-8 PM. Please return the filled out form with donation (if donating) to your child's teacher by Monday, February 10. All proceeds go to fund Middle School Student Council activities.
Congratulations goes out to Talena Sprecher for taking 1st place at last night's Creed Speaking event at the FFA District Speaking contest held in Boscobel. Talena now qualifies to compete in the Sectional Speaking contest in Shullsburg on March 25th.
Richland Junior Bowlers Share Night is from 4 PM - 8 PM on Wednesday, February 5th at Richland Center Culver's. Proceeds will benefit the Junior Bowlers Scholarship Program. Dine In or Drive thru! Come & support several of the bowlers from the Ithaca school & their scholarship program.
There will be a popcorn sale this Friday, Feb. 7. Cost is 50 cents a bag, limit 2 bags per student please. Proceeds this week will go to the Kindergarten class. Middle and High School students: we will come around to the classrooms to sell at Attack time with teacher permission.
