Congratulations to all of the participants at the District LDE FFA competition. Talena Sprecher placed first, and Josie Laue placed second in prepared speech, and both move onto Sectional competition. Talena also placed second in Ag Discussion and moved on to Sectionals. The middle school quiz bowl teams competed in a bracket of 7 teams and were one round away from advancing. Team members include Keegan Jones, Devin Ihm, Hewston Garcia Boland, Brinley Wanless, Annabeth Sprecher. Kinleigh Frost, Ethan Birkrem and Kaylee Manning. Good luck to those who moved onto the sectional contest!
Today during ATTACK Time, there will be a Math Club meeting. The agenda includes organizing teams for the Twin Conference Math competition. Let's get ready to defend our 2nd place showing last year!
In celebration of FBLA Week, Donut Friday is returning on February 11. Instead of frosted Long Johns, Kwik Trip donuts will be sold for $1 during high school lunch. Donut sales will be limited to one donut student.
Seniors: Just a friendly reminder that application materials for the Local Community Packet Scholarships are due this Friday, February 11th. Forms are all available on your email. If you would like to check to see that your recommendation rating sheets and/or letters have been received, please stop in to see Ms. Bevan or Mrs. Kershner.
Earlier in the year the first-grade class entered a coloring contest through the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin Charitable Foundation for fire safety month. Our very own, Avah Fargen in Mrs. Richards first grade class, took first place in the state of Wisconsin among 411 first grade students who entered the same contest. We are so excited for Avah to receive her award at the awards ceremony on February 23rd! If you see Avah in the building, please congratulate her!

Middle school students we will sell in your hallway by the elementary doors during your breakfast. High school we will sell in the hallway by the vending machine during your breakfast.
Mandy Zajicek Brewer, a 1993 graduate from Ithaca High School, was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's and is unable to work any longer. The Ithaca Lions will host a pancake breakfast fundraiser for Mandy on Sunday, February 6 from 7 AM - 1 PM in the Ithaca School Commons. Costs are: Kids 5 and under free, Kids 6-12 will be $5, and ages 13 to adult will be $8. The menu will consist of pancakes (gluten free on request), ham, scrambled eggs, cheese, coffee, and white and chocolate milk. Sugar free syrup will also be available.

The Ithaca Lions are hosting a pancake breakfast this Sunday! Mandy Zajicek Brewer, a 1993 graduate from Ithaca High School, was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's and is unable to work any longer. The Ithaca Lions will host a pancake breakfast fundraiser for Mandy on Sunday, February 6 from 7 AM - 1 PM in the Ithaca School Commons. Costs are: Kids 5 and under free, Kids 6-12 will be $5, and ages 13 to adult will be $8. The menu will consist of pancakes (gluten free on request), ham, scrambled eggs, cheese, coffee, and white and chocolate milk. Sugar free syrup will also be available. Please come show your support for a community member in need!

There will be an Ithaca FFA meeting Tuesday, Feb. 8th at ATTACK time in Ms. Sprecher's room. Please attend if you would like to share your opinions on FFA week, or if you are interested in competing in a LDE or CDE.

RUMMAGE & BAKE Sale: Friday, February 4th (9-5) & Saturday, February 5th (8-2). Phoenix Center Banquet Hall. Proceeds to benefit the Junior Bowlers Scholarship Program. If anyone would like to donate items for the Rummage Sale you can bring them to the Phoenix Center Wednesday 5:30 PM - 7 PM or Thursday 9 AM - 7 PM.
There will be a popcorn sale this Friday, February 4. Cost is 50 cents a bag, limit 2 bags per student please. Proceeds this week will go to the 3rd grade class. Middle school students we will sell in your hallway by the elementary doors during your breakfast. High school we will sell in the hallway by the vending machine during your breakfast.

Forensics students: You should be meeting with a coach at least once this week and every week. Our first contest is Monday, February 21st! Let's keep working toward repeating past successes.

Elementary students who are dropped off in the morning—Mrs. Lisney and Mrs. Schmitt are there to greet you until the bell rings at 7:55 at which time all students are to be in their classrooms. If you are dropped off and those ladies are not there, you are to walk to the main doors where Mrs. Thompson greets students. Be sure to let Mrs. Michel and Mrs. Kitsembel know you are here for the day before you walk to your classroom.
The Ithaca Community is rallying behind the Huebsch family! Please join Ben's classmates as they host an evening of support at the Phoenix Center on Saturday, February 12th. Doors will open at 5:30pm. Several donations are being silent and live auctioned. A huge thank you to all the current commitments for donations! Anyone wishing to contribute other silent or live auction items may contact Mr. Greg Herbst, or Mrs. Juli Thompson. There are still tickets available for the TV raffle, and there is now a consolation prize! Lime Ridge Agri Supply has contributed $500 for a second prize winning ticket. Tickets will be sold at the basketball game tonight.
The PTSO is sponsoring a Free Ithaca Family and Friends Swim Day on Sunday, February 6 from 1-4 PM at Symons Recreation Complex at UW-Richland. This event is free for all Ithaca students, adults and their friends and family members even if they don't go to Ithaca. The MS Student Council is hosting a MS Movie Night for any Ithaca Middle School Students on February 4, 2022, in the Multipurpose Room. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and close at 6:15 p.m. for the movie to start. Once the doors close no one will be allowed in or out. Plan to be picked up by 8 p.m. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
