Ithaca high schooler Danny Feryance competed at the National High School Trap competition in Mason, Michigan last weekend. Danny shot 81/100 in the team event, and in the individual event shot a 92/100, just one bird away from qualifying for the final round. Other competitors from his team were Weston student Karlee Peasal who ran a 87/100, and Wonewoc students Abby Verthein (86/100), Hayden Verthein (86/100), and Zach Verthein (79/100). The Vertheins were first-time shooters at Nationals. Congratulations to Danny Feryance and our area competitors!

Another school record broken! Congratulations to Kaylee Peterson who set a new school record in the 800m race at the Sectional track and field meet in Boscobel Thursday. She clocked in at 2:24.70 to break the record set by Kami (Faber) Clary in 1993.
