Step right up! National School Lunch Week was a total circus at Ithaca, but in the best way possible! Ms. Julie and her fabulous Food Service team has been bringing the circus theme to life all week long, transforming our lunch room (and lunchtime) into a big top celebration. To make things even more fun, students got a special visit from Ithaca's own Bubbles the Clown herself.... AND she even brought them a yummy treat!

National School Lunch Week highlights the importance of healthy, balanced school meals and the hard work that goes into serving them. We are so grateful for our incredible Food Service staff, and the joy, dedication, and nourishment they deliver to our students every single day! Please join us in thanking Ms. Julie, Ms. Marla, Ms. Patty, and Ms. Diane for all of their hard work!

Last year, the Ithaca District launched our Treats for Teachers initiative to celebrate and express our gratitude to our dedicated staff for the incredible work they do for our students every single day. We want to extend a sincere thank you to our October donor, Oakwood Fruit Farm, for partnering with us to make our team feel so special. Thanks to Judy, and the wonderful team at Oakwood, our staff were treated to a delicious Caramel Apple Nacho Bar and fresh apple cider...complete with gooey Oakwood caramel and popular toppings like Heath bars, M&Ms, sprinkles, and whipped cream. It was a fantastic way for our team to start their weekend feeling happy, energized, and deeply supported by our amazing community.

We are profoundly grateful for generous local businesses like Oakwood Fruit Farm, and if your family or business would like to sponsor or contribute to an upcoming Treats for Teachers event, please contact Heather Dickey at heather.dickey@ithaca.k12.wi.us or (608) 585-2311 ext. 513.

Ithaca School Foundation Trivia Night fall 2026
Mrs. Menke's 4K Bulldogs dove into learning about a Fall favorite this week.... APPLES! Our little learners had a busy week reading all about apple orchards, discovering the different parts of an apple, and even using their math skills to measure how many apples tall they are. They topped off the fun by whipping up some delicious "apple pies in a cup" treat! We want to send a HUGE thank you to the wonderful team at Oakwood Fruit Farm for donating the apples that made our hands on week so special. Check out the pictures below to see the apples of our eye in action!

Daily Announcements - Wednesday
On National Coaches Day, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to every single coach across the Ithaca School District.

From our youth leagues to our high school varsity teams, our coaches serve as mentors, leaders, and role models. Coaching goes far beyond calling plays and organizing practices. It takes an incredible amount of time, energy, and personal sacrifice. Long after the final whistle blows, our coaches are spending early mornings, late nights, and weekends preparing our athletes to succeed both on and off the fields, courts, and tracks.

To all of our Ithaca coaches: thank you. Thank you for your commitment, your patience, and the passion you bring to our sports programs every day. The lessons you teach about teamwork, resilience, discipline, and sportsmanship leave a lasting impact that shapes the lives of our students long after their time at Ithaca has ended. We are so grateful for everything you do for our students. Happy National Coaches Day!
