The Wisconsin Association of School Boards has designated Oct. 1-7 as Wisconsin School Board Week as a time to build awareness and understanding of the vital function an elected board of education plays in our communities. Ithaca Public Schools is joining all public school districts across the state to celebrate Wisconsin School Board Week to honor local board members for their commitment to the Ithaca community and its children.
School board members devote hours of their time each week to provide leadership for our school district. This week is Wisconsin School Board Week so take time to thank a school board member today! Thank you to the Ithaca School Board of Education members: Joe Brown, Robert "Bob" Buscher, Kelly Feryance, Becca Keller, Randy Manning, Linda Peterson, and Martin "Marty" Richards. Thank you for all you dedicate to our district and students!
If you’re old enough, you remember when the only meaning of ‘attachment’ was an actual piece of paper fastened with a metal paper clip to a memo that had been copied physically on a mimeograph machine. Technology has practically advanced at the speed of light since then and someone has always had to keep up with the latest technical advent in order to manage any misfires in a given system. These guys and gals are nothing less than essential to successful business practices. We missed National IT Professionals Day, September 19th, but today, we give them a pat on the back, buy them a cup of coffee, or just say, “Thanks!”
Ithaca IT is headed by one of the very best, Mr Adam Hess, and he is assisted by Aaron Feryance and Wyatt Laukant. Without their skills and expertise, information technology at Ithaca wouldn't be as robust as it is today. Thank you to them for keeping us "connected."

Hello,
I have confirmed through testing this morning that our phone line issue still has not been resolved. According to Frontier, it's being worked on currently. I have confirmed many other businesses in the Richland Center area are having the same issue. I will continue to send out community updates as they become available.
Here is a recap of the effects of this widespread interruption of service:
We cannot dial out to cell phones
We cannot dial out to long distance exchanges
Long distance cannot reach us
Cell phones cannot reach us
Thanks, Adam.
