Reminder to Parents/Guardians that the Early Release (previously scheduled for 12/18/25) has been moved to Tuesday December 23, 2025. Today will now be a regular, full day of school, and students will now be released early on 12/23/25 (12:15 for Elementary and 12:34 for Middle and High Schools).

From Mrs. Burnley: There will be an FBLA meeting on today, December 18th during CAPstone in Mrs. Burnley’s room.
From Mrs. Burnley and Mr. Andresen: Please donate to the FBLA & NHS Food & Coat Drive! Donations are being collected until Friday December 19. Take donations to your classroom. Points will be given for food donations and the classroom with the most points at the end of the week will receive a pizza party after Winter Break. 4K- 12th grade is competing for the pizza party. Currently, Mrs. Huffar’s class is in the lead with 322 points! High-Priority Items (e.g., canned meat, peanut butter): 3 points per standard sized item; Medium-Priority Items (e.g., canned vegetables, canned fruit, pasta, soup): 2 points per standard sized item; Standard Items (e.g., ramen, miscellaneous): 1 point per standard sized item; Bottles of water: .5 point per bottle
From Ms. Ernzen: There will be a Book Club meeting on Friday, December 19th during lunch in Ms. Ernzen’s room. If you are taking part in the Holiday Book Swap, you MUST bring the book you are gifting to the meeting. If you would like to sign up to bring snacks or read the December Book of the Month, please see Ms. Ernzen.
From Mrs. Thompson, Ms. Amos, Ms. Kjellberg: There will be a Forensics team meeting during CAPStone in the LMC on Friday, December 19th.
From Jacob Manning: There will be a meeting for all boys interested in joining middle school wrestling on Monday, December 22nd, in Mr Kelly’s room during CAPstone.
From PTSO: We still have the following RR1 flavors available for $10 each: butter microwave, kettle corn microwave, caramel sea salt, cheddar cheese, jalapeno cheddar, and white cheddar.
