From Mrs. Pluemer: This week (October 27-31), Ithaca observes Red Ribbon Week. The theme is “Life is a Puzzle; solve it drug-free.” Red Ribbon week honors the memory of DEA agent Enrique Camarena, who gave his life toward ensuring a drug-free America. Red Ribbon Week is a call to speak out in support of healthy choices. It also serves as a reminder that we are all empowered with shaping the communities around us through positivity, bravery, and strength. Tomorrow’s (October 28th) dress up day is mismatch.
Red Ribbon Trivia of the day (Mrs. Pluemer): To answer the trivia question you must call extension 406 - do not call the school office we do not have the answer and will not be able to help you. After marijuana and alcohol, what are the most commonly abused substances by Americans age 14 and older?
