Reminder to students who drive or ride with someone who does: Please bring everything you need for the day into the building when you arrive. Our school safety policy does not allow students to return to their cars once they are in the building.
From the Kitchen: Attention High School students who have Youth Apprenticeship or Modified Schedules. If you arrive at school after first hour and would like school lunch, please stop in the office to mark your choice on the daily lunch count sheet to ensure that enough food is prepared. Thank you!
From Ithaca Music Boosters: A meeting will be held this evening, Sept 10th, in the band room starting at 6:00pm to discuss Homecoming and this year’s fundraising. All families are invited.
From Ms. Ernzen: There will be an informational Book Club Meeting in Ms. Ernzen’s room during CAPstone on Thursday, Sept 11th. This will provide membership information for new and returning members.
From Mr. Andresen: Attention potential NHS members - your completed applications are due by the end of the day on Friday, September 12th. Failure to submit completed paperwork by the deadline is cause for denial of admission to NHS. Direct any questions or completed applications to Mr. Andresen in Room 311.

On This Day in History: September 10, 2000: Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Cats closed after 7,485 performances in 18 years; it was the longest-running show on Broadway until it was surpassed by Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera in 2006.

Parents/guardians are informed of field trips via permission slips. Unlike an athletic event or music concert, field trips are not open invitations for the general public to attend. Therefore, as a safety precaution, field trips will no longer be listed on the calendar on the District's website.
