From the Kitchen: Attention High School students who have Youth Apprenticeship or Modified Schedules. If you arrive at school after first hour and would like school lunch, please stop in the office to mark your choice on the daily lunch count sheet to ensure that enough food is prepared. Thank you!

From Mrs. Ramsden: Middle School Student Council please remember that we are meeting today in room 103 at noon. Grab your lunch and come to room 103 for fun, introductions, and information. See you then!

From Mr. Klang: There will be a High School Girls’ Basketball Meeting in Mr. Klang’s room during CAPstone Today, Sept. 8th.

From Mr. Andresen: On Tuesday September 9th, the first NHS Officer meeting will happen before school in Mr. Andresen’s room.

From Mr. Andresen: Attention potential NHS members - your completed applications are due by the end of the day on Friday, September 12th. Failure to submit completed paperwork by the deadline is cause for denial of admission to NHS. Direct any questions or completed applications to Mr. Andresen in Room 311.

Word of the Day: Sanguine (SANG-gwin) - used to describe someone who is confident and hopeful - The group of young entrepreneurs were sanguine about the future of their new business.

On This Day in History: On September 8, 2022, Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-reigning monarch in British history, died at age 96 at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. The crown was passed to her eldest son, now known as King Charles III.

Notice: We will continue to announce birthdays at the beginning of the school day; however, they will no longer be listed on the announcements that are sent to the general public.

Parents/guardians are informed of field trips via permission slips. Unlike an athletic event or music concert, field trips are not open invitations for the general public to attend. Therefore, as a safety precaution, field trips will no longer be listed on the calendar on the District's website.
