From Mrs. Pluemer and Middle School Sources of Strength: May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Middle School Students have the opportunity to continue to spread some kindness and boost mental health by participating in a week-long Act of Kindness challenge this week (May 12-16th). Post-it notes will be available to write a positive message or affirmation for a fellow student. If you receive a positive message, pay it forward by writing a message and giving it to someone else (not the person who gave one to you). Our goal is to get a MINIMUM of one positive message to each middle school student by the end of the week, and boost mental health for all of middle school!

From Sources of Strength: In observance of Mental Health Awareness Month, Sources of Strength will be hosting a mental health trivia contest all this week, (May 12th-16th.) Prizes will be awarded to the first class to call into the office with the correct answer each day. Today’s (Wednesday, May 14th) trivia question is: True or False: Therapy, yoga, meditation and holistic treatments can all help to ease mental health symptoms. True
