Wisconsin Public School Observance Day: Today we remember Mildred Fish-Harnack, a Milwaukee-born, University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate who became the only American woman ever to be executed on the direct order of Adolf Hitler for her involvement in the Nazi resistance movement.

From Youth Football: Youth Football Schedule - September: 15th,16th, 29th, and 30th; October: 6th and 7th; Any changes to schedule will be posted here and the Ithaca Football Facebook page.
From Mrs. Thompson: Freshmen will meet today, Sept 16th during CAPstone in the LMC.
From Mrs. Burnley: There will be an FBLA meeting in Mrs. Burnley’s room during CAPstone on Wednesday, September 17th. Current members, please encourage high school students who are interested in joining FBLA to come to the meeting.
From Mrs. Deitelhoff: The first FCCLA meeting of the year will be in Mrs. Deitelhoff’s room during CAPstone on Friday September 19th. All middle school or high school students who are interested in joining are welcome!
From PTSO: Popcorn Friday will be this Friday, September 19th. Popcorn is 50 cents per bag with a limit of 2 bags per student. Funds will go to the 2nd grade class.
From Mrs. Deitelhoff and Mrs Stellner: Homecoming guest reminder: If you’re planning to bring a guest from another school to the Homecoming dance, guest forms are now available in the office. All completed forms are due by Thursday, October 2nd.
From Mrs. Burnley: Order your Ithaca High School Yearbook by Friday, October 3rd to receive the lowest price of $45. You can choose to personalize your yearbook with your name for $8.70 and get up to four free icons. Yearbooks can be purchased online at Jostens.com or you can get an order form from Mrs. Burnley. Order your yearbook now because after Oct. 3, the yearbook price will increase to $52.
Ithaca School Fair Information:
The Ithaca School Fair will be held Saturday, October 4. To enter exhibits in the fair go to: https://www.fairentry.com/Fair/SignIn/22726 Please enter by September 30. New this year: Youth (juniors) can enter 3 items in all classes except livestock where they can enter 2 in each class. Adults (open) may enter 2 items per class.

The Music Boosters will have the pork sandwich and hotdog meals in the Commons and the baked potato bar in the Community Gym at the fair. Come out and support your favorite musicians by buying a meal and supporting their trip to New York this spring.
Kindschi's pedal pull will be at the Ithaca Fair. Sign up starts at 12:30 with the pull at 1 PM.

The Ithaca Hall of Fame presentations will be held at 2 PM on the football field before the game.
The Homecoming football game this year is against Royall with kickoff at 2:30.
