From Mrs. Thompson: Freshman, bring your Chromebooks to your CAPstone classroom. You must complete the task that will be in your email inbox today, Sept. 15th during CAPstone.
From Youth Football: Youth Football will start September 15th and run from 6-7pm at the football field. It will be similar to last year with high school players assisting with drills and activities. Any 3rd - 5th graders interested in participating please have parents contact Cole Miller at 608-475-6379 or show up to the first practice. Youth Football Schedule - September: 15th,16th, 29th, and 30th; October: 6th and 7th. Any changes to schedule will be posted here and the Ithaca Football Facebook page.
From Mrs. Deitelhoff: There will be the first FCCLA meeting of the year in Mrs. Deitelhoff’s room during CAPstone on Friday September 19th. All middle school or high school students who are interested in joining are welcome!
From PTSO: Mark your calendar the first Popcorn Friday of the year will be Friday, September 19th. Popcorn is 50 cents per bag with a limit of 2 bags per student. Funds will go to the 2nd grade class.
From Mrs. Deitelhoff and Mrs Stellner: Homecoming guest reminder: If you’re planning to bring a guest from another school to the Homecoming dance, guest forms are now available in the office. All completed forms are due by Thursday, October 2nd.
Ithaca School Fair Information: The Ithaca School Fair will be held Saturday, October 4. To enter exhibits in the fair go to: https://www.fairentry.com/Fair/SignIn/22726 Please enter by September 30. New this year: Youth (juniors) can enter 3 items in all classes except livestock where they can enter 2 in each class. Adults (open) may enter 2 items per class. The Ithaca FFA will be sponsoring a bags tournament on Friday, October 3. Contact Ms. Sprecher at school for details on how to enter.
The Middle School Student Council will be having carnival games on Friday, October 3 from 5-8 PM.

The Music Boosters will have the pork sandwich and hotdog meals in the Commons and the baked potato bar in the Community Gym at the fair. Come out and support your favorite musicians by buying a meal and supporting their trip to New York this spring.
Kindschi's pedal pull will be at the Ithaca Fair. Sign up starts at 12:30 with the pull at 1 PM.

The Ithaca Hall of Fame presentations will be held at 2 PM on the football field before the game.
The Homecoming football game this year is against Royall with kickoff at 2:30.

On This Day in History: September 15, 1858 the Overland Mail Company sent out its first 2 stagecoaches beginning government mail service between the eastern and western regions of the country in what became known as the transcontinental mail service.

Parents/guardians are informed of field trips via permission slips. Unlike an athletic event or music concert, field trips are not open invitations for the general public to attend. Therefore, as a safety precaution, field trips will no longer be listed on the calendar on the District's website.
